Anticipating Miracles - A Four-Day Immersive Tzfat Retreat

The name of the city of Tzfat comes from the Hebrew word L'Tzapot, meaning "to anticipate" or "yearn."

In our hectic lives of incessant doing and the loud noise of the latest and greatest, we forget to seek stillness, our higher calling, and the answers within.

Kabbalah teaches that our ability, or inability for that matter, to anticipate properly is at the core of everything that is manifested in our lives. We can manifest miracles if we learn to anticipate by seeking the unseen unity and light beyond the rat race.

Tzfat and Kabbalah are intertwined, and the impression of the greats who lived, studied, and practiced here is palpable in the air of the streets.

This retreat is designed to help you unplug from noise and reconnect to something deeper and truer within yourself. We will study the main framework of Kabbalah in a clear and grounded way, while also practicing meditation, walking the city, and letting Tsfat itself teach.

The retreat takes place between Purim and Pesach, a powerful corridor in the Jewish calendar. From Purim, we learn to recognize the Creator’s miracles within nature, within “ordinary life.” As we approach Pesach, we prepare to leave our personal Egypt, limiting beliefs, unhealthy habits, fears, constraints, which the Kabbalists called our inner exile, and step into freedom with clarity and faith.
