The Calm Within the Storm Meditation

A calming guided meditation to help you reconnect to presence, trust, and the Divine spark within—especially in times of uncertainty and external turmoil. Through breath and awareness, return to the stillness that is always available from the inside out.
I wanted to share a short meditation for this moment we are all in — especially here in Israel, where we are collectively birthing a new consciousness.
There is so much uncertainty around us and within us. But in the midst of it all, we are invited to pause.
To feel our body.
To notice the breath.
To return to that quiet place within —
The space that is peaceful, free, and deeply present.
Even when that place feels distant, hidden beneath layers of stress or fear, it is still there. And we can choose to return to it. We can choose presence.
This presence is not just a practice. It is who we truly are.
It is the Divine Presence within —
our G-dly soul, not a concept to achieve but a truth to remember.
With each breath, we can gently recalibrate.
Calm the nervous system.
Allow the mind to lovingly guide the heart, as the Alter Rebbe teaches: Moach shalit al halev.
It means creating space to notice how we react, how we perceive.
And without judgment, to return again to the breath.
To let G-d in.
To trust the process.
To love the parts of ourselves that are messy, reactive, hurt, or uncertain.
And to remember:
There is a deeper stillness — even beyond the sirens, beyond the chaos.
There is life.
And that life is within us.
We can respond from this inner wholeness —
with compassion, strength, faith, and trust.
Let us return to the present moment — where G-d is.
Where we are.
From the inside out.
You are life.
Connect to it.
